Viginia Dandan has been a professor at UP College of Fine Arts for over 30 years, and was dean of the college from 2000 to 2006.
Virginia staged her 12th solo exhibition in Manila last year. She has participated in numerous two person and group exhibitions over a period of more than 30 years.
She has contributed to many publications and conducted many workshops and is the recipient of numerous honours and awards in her own country and all over the world.
Virginia is chairperson of the United Nations Committee on Human Rights and Solidarity.
Virginia has been a keynote speaker at international gatherings in Sydney, the United States, Brazil, Switzerland, Nepal, Korea, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Canada and many other countries.
