Alexander Gunn is originally from Parkes but is now based in Wollongong. He fronts the indie-rock project Blue Picnic and is a long-time collaborator with Black lotus mind control. Alex’s music features dispirited storytelling set against an uncomplicated, bedroom aesthetic. His work uncovers existential observations from the minutiae of everyday life. Alexander joined Ub Ubbo Exchange in 2015 as a writer and in 2020 worked on the Art of Resilience Youth Arts Program as part of the sound team.
