Noki, as he is fondly called by his friends and family, has always been fascinated with Culture and the Arts. He firmly believes that through art, everyone and everything, regardless of race and culture, is connected with one another. For him, art is culture's language that ties everything together. It is the root as well as the fruit of intertwining cultures. Lioneil Noki Dela Cruz doesn't have a gift in the visual arts but tries his best to channel his creativity, understanding, and appreciation (of art) through words. He also tries to squeeze in his spare time visiting museums and exhibits, watching theatre performances, and wallowing in the words of other writers. He always finds time to practice creative writing while spending most of his time at work as a PR Assistant in the National Irrigation Administration (Philippines) and a part-time Counsellor at the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (Brgy. UP Campus, Quezon City). Noki finished a bachelor's degree in Arts, majoring in English.
